Savvy Saints

An open group that meets once a month on the first Tuesday afternoon of the month from 1.30 – 3.30 p.m. Refreshments are served during that time. This group generally consists of older members of the parish, their relatives, friends, and neighbours. At the moment this group is suspended during the pandemic.

We often have a speaker, or musician, or topical discussion during our time together. There are also opportunities for road trips. Recently the Savy Saints group visited the Ontario Christian Gleaners and learned about their operations.

Church Breakfast

Once a month members of the parish gather for breakfast, fellowship time and share their hopes, their dreams and their struggles. They meet at the Dearborn Restaurant usually around 9:00 am on the Second Tuesday of the month. During the pandemic, this meeting is suspended.

Bible Studies

Each Wednesday the parish gathers for a Bible study at 11:00 am in the board room.

Once a month, usually on the last Wednesday of the month (except in Lent) the parish takes its Bible study on the road to a local pub for Beer and Bible. Always fun, Beer and Bible is more than just a Bible study, but is theology meets action as we take our faith to the world to be a visible symbol of God’s redeeming love. When social restrictions lift we will begin meeting again.

Dinner for 8

Fellowship and building a church family is extremely important for All Saints'. This is reflected in our Dinner for 8 program. Couples and groups sign up, one couple offers to host a dinner party and a Christian formation program ensues around the table. Topics for discussion can be seasonal, surround upcoming decisions of the community in its mission and ministry or its upcoming building project.

Wool Gatherers

A group of knitters and crocheters who meet weekly on Saturday mornings from 10-12 in the Sunday School Room. They knit and crochet items – hats, scarves, mittens, socks, blankets, prayer shawls etc. which, after a blessing, are distributed to those in need. All crafters are welcome to join us. For more information please contact Rachel Prichard.
